This permit allows all residents and visitors to apply for, and receive, a parking exemption for the prohibitions of parking longer than 3 hours and for parking between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m
*17 OUPPs available per year, per license plate (first 5permits are free, and the following 12 are $12 per permit plus tax)
*Permits are valid for 24 hours
*Permits are issued electronically and are automaticallyattached to the license plate - no print and display required.
Waterfront Parking Plan
From May 15 to September 15 the parking management plan will be in effect at the Ajax Waterfront area to manage increased parking on weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and public holidays. The plan contains designated parking areas including FREE permitted parking for Ajax residents and paid parking for non-residents.
*Please note that any owner of a vehicle bearing an Ontario Veteran graphic licence plate is exempt from the Waterfront Parking Plan permit requirements.
The Town provides the following parking options for residents andvisitors
Resident Waterfront Parking - Free
By registering their licence plates online Ajax residents can park for free at designated parking areas (parking lots and signed streets) along the Ajax Waterfront.
Paradise Beach Resident Parking – Free
Only residents living in the Paradise Beach area can park their vehicles on streetssigned “No Parking – Registered Local Residents Parking Only” by registeringtheir license plates online. Limit of 1 vehicle per household.
Waterfront Resident Guest Parking Permits
Each household along Lake Driveway East or West within the parking-controlled waterfront feeder streets is entitled to 10 free Waterfront Resident Guest Parking Permits (10 per season, per household).
Please note, remaining parking provisions within the Traffic By-law remain in effect. The Town's Parking Brochure lists parking prohibitions and enforcement procedures and practices.
